Zack - A Natural Foundation for Your Home

Bring a sense of calm to your space with this beautifully woven jute rug, offering a tactile and earthy feel that complements any room with its understated geometric charm.

The Zack rug is a thoughtful addition to any home, crafted from natural jute to bring an earthy and grounding presence to your living space. Its tactile surface offers a wonderful texture underfoot, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate natural materials that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Designed with versatility in mind, this rug is fully reversible, which helps extend its lifespan and allows you to enjoy both sides equally. It is also compatible with underfloor heating, ensuring that your home remains comfortable and cosy even during the cooler months of the year.

This rug is produced in India, where skilled artisans use traditional techniques to create a durable and well-considered piece. The natural fibres are carefully woven to ensure a robust foundation, providing a reliable and lasting element for your interior design.

With its neutral colour palette of beige and white, this piece blends seamlessly into a variety of decor styles, from minimalist to more eclectic settings. Its understated aesthetic adds character without overwhelming your room, serving as a calm and steady base for your furniture and personal belongings.

Design

The design features a clean geometric pattern that plays with light and shadow across the surface. The alternating natural beige and crisp white tones create a balanced look that feels both structured and soft.

Its simple, intentional layout draws the eye without dominating the room, making it an excellent choice for a quiet, grounded interior. The natural variation in the jute fibres adds subtle depth to the overall visual experience.

This rug is hand woven by skilled artisans in India, reflecting a long tradition of craftsmanship. The process involves a careful and rhythmic manual technique where each fibre is placed to ensure consistency and strength throughout the entire piece.

Creating a hand woven rug of this size requires significant patience and focus, as the weaver must maintain a steady tension to achieve the desired weave. This human touch ensures that each rug possesses a unique character that machine-made alternatives simply cannot replicate.

The time and dedication invested in every stage of the production process result in a finished product that feels substantial and well-made. By choosing a hand-crafted item, you are supporting traditional skills and bringing a piece into your home that has been made with genuine care.

90% Jute

Jute is a natural material that consists of a long, soft and shiny plant fibre that can be spun into coarse and strong threads. Jute rugs are known for their natural texture, which makes them durable and highly resistant to wear and tear. They also have a higher sound insulation effect than for example synthetic rugs. Jute rugs are a sustainable option since they can be recycled and are biodegradable. The material is sensitive to moisture, therefore jute rugs should only be used indoors or outdoors under a roof.

10% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
The rug can bleach or change colour if exposed to direct sunlight; therefore, it is important to avoid placing the rugs in direct sunlight.
The rugs are sensitive to moisture, therefore they should only be used indoors or outdoors under a roof.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
