Rating: 4.7 (13 reviews)

Ground your hallway or narrow space with the inviting tactile feel of the Solveig runner. Crafted from 100% cotton, it offers a soft, natural surface that feels pleasant underfoot as you move through your home.

This rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, allowing warmth to pass through easily so your floors stay comfortable during cooler months. The thoughtful construction also provides helpful sound absorption to keep footsteps quiet.

Certified by OEKO-TEX, the materials used are tested for harmful substances to give you peace of mind in daily living spaces. It is also produced in cooperation with Care & Fair, supporting better working and living conditions for weavers in India.

Being reversible, you can turn the runner over to help share wear evenly over time. This simple practice helps keep the surface looking fresh for longer with minimal effort.

Design

The runner displays an orderly pattern of nested diamonds stretching across the surface in contrasting tones. Each geometric shape is formed with careful attention to symmetry, creating a rhythmic visual flow that draws the eye along the length of the floor.

The simple palette of black and white brings a calm, balanced feel to interior spaces. This versatile combination suits modern and minimalist homes easily, adding a neat geometric accent without overwhelming the surrounding decor.

Skilled artisans craft each runner using traditional hand-woven techniques, bringing a high level of human care to the process. This meticulous craft requires steady hands and patience, taking several days of dedicated work to complete a single piece.

The hand-woven construction results in a durable flat surface with clean edges and a neat finish. Because each runner is made by hand, subtle individual variations give it a unique character that machine-made alternatives cannot replicate.

100% Cotton

Care & Fair

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
