Designed for modern living, this runner is fully reversible, allowing you to flip it over to prolong its life and keep your space looking fresh. Its thoughtful construction makes it compatible with underfloor heating, ensuring your home stays cosy throughout the colder months.

This runner is handmade in India, reflecting a commitment to traditional craft techniques. The natural cotton fibres provide a durable foundation that stands up well to daily use while maintaining a light and airy aesthetic.

Whether placed in a transition area or a small room, its clean lines and bright tone help create a welcoming atmosphere. It serves as a reliable and versatile floor covering that balances functional needs with a simple, decorative touch.

Design

The Solveig runner features a repeating diamond pattern that creates a sense of order and balance. The interplay between the bright yellow and clean white tones gives the design a fresh and energetic feel.

Its simple geometric style is clean and understated, making it easy to integrate into various rooms without overpowering your existing decor. The crisp lines of the pattern stand out clearly against the soft base, providing a subtle visual interest.

Every Solveig runner is hand woven by skilled artisans in India. This traditional method involves carefully interlacing cotton threads on a loom, a process that requires significant time and precision to ensure the integrity of the pattern.

Because each piece is made by hand rather than by machine, there is a human element in every stage of production. This dedication to craft results in a durable and unique runner that brings a sense of authentic quality to your home interiors.

The weaving process allows for the creation of the distinct geometric design, which is achieved through the careful tension and placement of the cotton fibres. This level of attention to detail ensures that your runner is built to be a lasting part of your decor.

Care & Fair

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
