The Solveig runner brings a balanced and calm atmosphere to your home. Crafted from cotton, it offers a soft, tactile experience underfoot that makes it a pleasure to walk on throughout the day.

Designed with versatility in mind, this runner is fully reversible, allowing you to switch sides to extend its life and maintain a fresh look. Its natural material and construction make it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas where comfort and durability are both needed.

This runner is thoughtfully made to be compatible with underfloor heating, ensuring your home stays warm and comfortable even on colder days. Its low profile ensures it sits neatly against the floor without being an obstruction in doorways or narrow spaces.

Expertly made in India, this piece reflects a commitment to traditional craft. Its simple yet effective design integrates easily into various rooms, providing a subtle foundation that enhances your existing decor without overpowering it.

Design

The runner features a clean and rhythmic diamond pattern that draws the eye along its length. The combination of blue and white creates a crisp, refreshing look that works well in modern or relaxed interiors.

Its geometric design is kept simple and understated, providing a sense of order and structure to your floor space. The repeat pattern is balanced and consistent, ensuring a harmonious visual flow in any hallway or narrow area.

This runner is carefully hand-woven by skilled artisans who bring years of experience to every piece they create. The process involves precise work on a loom, where each strand of cotton is interlaced to form a sturdy and uniform structure.

Because it is made by hand rather than by machine, each runner possesses a unique character that mass-produced items lack. The time and patience required for this level of detail ensure a final product that is built to last and provides a genuine, human touch to your living environment.

Creating a runner of this size requires significant effort and attention to detail throughout the entire weaving process. By focusing on traditional techniques, the artisans ensure that the final result is both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound for daily use.

Care & Fair

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
