Design

The design features a rich red base adorned with an intricate, multicolour motif that draws inspiration from traditional patterns. The bold colour palette creates a lively focal point, effortlessly brightening up narrow spaces and hallways.

With its symmetrical layout and decorative elements, the design strikes a balance between ornate detail and a warm, inviting aesthetic. The interplay of colours adds depth to the surface, making it a versatile choice for various interior settings.

This runner is hand-tufted by skilled artisans in India, a process that requires precision and a steady hand to achieve its consistent texture. Each loop is carefully placed to create a dense, durable surface that feels substantial and soft. This labour-intensive technique ensures that the final result is not just a floor covering, but a piece made with genuine human effort.

The creation of this runner involves a significant investment of time, as artisans meticulously work on the design to ensure every detail is captured accurately. From the initial tufting to the final finishing touches, the process focuses on quality and longevity. This dedication to craft results in a durable runner that stands up to the demands of everyday life while maintaining its intended shape and feel.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
