Design

This runner features a single-coloured dark brown palette with fine horizontal striations created by the weaving process. The minimalist composition relies on simple lines and subtle textural depth rather than bold motifs, making it a versatile choice for modern and classic hallways.

The deep brown tone lends a rich, grounded atmosphere to narrow spaces. Its plain finished edges and clean geometric shape enhance its understated look, allowing it to frame surrounding woodwork and flooring naturally.

This runner is hand-woven by experienced weavers in India using traditional flat-weaving techniques that require precise coordination and control. Artisans work the loom manually, intertwining the threads to build a firm, uniform surface without the use of high pile.

Creating a piece of this length and flat structure takes several weeks of continuous craftsmanship. Every inch is crafted by hand, ensuring a tight weave that holds its shape over time while preserving subtle natural variations in texture.

The human effort and attention involved in hand-weaving give this piece individual character and structural stability, creating a long-lasting textile built to endure daily foot traffic.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
