Hand-woven by skilled artisans in India, this piece requires patience and deep practical knowledge to craft. Every thread is woven tightly together, creating a flat, resilient structure designed to handle daily life in a modern home.

Creating a hand-woven rug of this scale takes several weeks of focused labor. Weavers meticulously manage the tension across the loom to ensure a balanced weave and a clean, uniform border finish.

This manual process gives the rug its distinct character, supporting traditional craftsmanship while delivering a durable, high-quality textile for your living space.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Do this

Spot clean only.

We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
