Design

The design features a bold, classic checkered pattern that creates a striking visual rhythm along the length of the runner. The interplay between the deep red and soft beige tones offers a balanced look that is both graphic and approachable.

Its clean, geometric layout brings order to narrow spaces, making it an ideal choice for adding a touch of personality to your decor without overwhelming the room. The simplicity of the pattern allows it to blend seamlessly into various interior settings.

This runner is carefully hand-woven by skilled artisans, a process that requires patience, precision, and years of experience. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, each piece is crafted on traditional looms, ensuring a unique character and structural integrity that only human hands can provide.

The creation of this runner involves a significant investment of time, as every thread is meticulously placed to achieve the uniform checkered design. Depending on the size, it can take our dedicated weavers several weeks of focused work to complete a single piece, reflecting the high level of effort and craft embedded in the final product.

By focusing on traditional hand-weaving techniques, we ensure that every runner is not just a floor covering, but a testament to the weaver's expertise. This commitment to manual production methods results in a robust and authentic product that stands out for its quality and the human story behind its creation.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
