5 tips to decorate your kids room

1. Think about your kids age

3. Pick the right rug material

Consider plushness for a cosy playtime experience. Certain materials offer durability, simplicity of maintenance, and allergen safety for a wholesome environment in your kids space. Wool rugs for kids are great for their innate softness, robustness, and resistance to stains. Synthetics, on the other hand, offer exceptional durability and effortless cleaning. Jute rugs, though robust, are best suited for low-traffic regions or as an extra layer of comfort when combined with a softer option.

4. Decorate with colour

Decorating with colours harmonises with the room’s theme and reflects your kids personality and style. Look for rugs in lively hues such as shades of blue, pink, yellow, or green to add an energetic and joyful feeling. Imagine kids play rugs featuring their beloved animals, cars or nature and let these add a personalised touch to the room. Playful patterns like stripes, geometric shapes, or even educational motifs, can add visual interest and create a lively atmosphere.
