Design

The surface of the rug comes alive with a delightful collection of jungle animals, including a giraffe, lion, elephant, and zebra, arranged among tropical leaves and branches. The playful motifs are rendered with expressive details and clean lines, creating an engaging scene that captures the imagination.

Set against a soft light-blue background, the palette incorporates warm earth tones like beige and brown alongside pops of green and red. This harmonious mix of colours suits modern children's spaces, adding a cheerful yet calm mood to the room.

This rug is carefully hand-tufted by skilled artisans in India, a region with a rich heritage in textile craftsmanship. The process requires patience and precision, as each tuft of wool is individually inserted into the backing fabric to build up the dense and durable pile.

Crafting a piece of this scale takes dedicated human effort, with artisans spending several weeks working by hand to shape the detailed animal motifs and rich textures. This hands-on approach ensures that every finished piece has its own unique character.

The combination of traditional hand-tufting techniques and robust natural materials results in a sturdy rug designed to withstand everyday family life while retaining its soft texture over time.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
