Cosy Romance

If your home is your nest, rugs in soft and cheerful pastels can help create that cosy and comforting atmosphere. This trend is inspired by the welcoming and creative home that smells of freshly baked bread and meadow flowers. With one foot in the country cottage and the other in the vintage lover’s flat, familiar patterns and textures evoke a sense of maternal kindness and authenticity, as well as a fresh and modern lightness. Forget the outside for a while, focus on what’s inside, and invite your friends and family. It’s okay to be nostalgic – set the scene with Cosy Romance.

Tips from our designers

“Creating a cottage feeling at home is all about cultivating the beauty of romantic simplicity and the nostalgia of bygone days. Soft, cheerful colours and vintage textiles create a cosy, lived-in atmosphere. Mix antique and contemporary furniture, reuse and renew. Decorate with heirlooms, flowers, and plants to add both character and freshness. Let natural light flood in through sheer curtains, and above all, make it your kind of cosy.”
