Owning this rug means welcoming a piece of authentic Middle Eastern artistry into your home. Its distinct character and the natural qualities of the Wool ensure that it remains a cherished part of your interior, offering a level of individuality that mass-produced items simply cannot replicate.

Loribaft rugs originate from the tribal traditions of the Middle East, specifically associated with the nomadic peoples who have woven rugs for generations. These rugs are celebrated for their simplicity and the deep, soulful connection they have to the landscape and the culture of the region.

The term Loribaft refers to a style that prioritises the quality and texture of the Wool, often resulting in a thicker, more luxurious pile than other tribal varieties. This construction technique is essential for creating the characteristic softness and durability that these rugs are known for, ensuring they serve their purpose while remaining beautiful.

Visually, these pieces often feature a more minimalist or abstract approach compared to the highly structured patterns of city-made rugs. They often showcase subtle, artistic motifs or simple geometric elements that reflect the weaver's personal vision and the natural surroundings, making each piece an expressive work of art.

Collected for their authenticity and the human story behind every knot, Loribaft rugs are valued for their ability to bring a sense of history and heritage into a modern home. Owning one is an opportunity to preserve a living craft tradition, connecting your space to a long-standing lineage of artistic skill.

This rug is meticulously hand-knotted by skilled artisans who dedicate weeks of focused effort to its creation. By using traditional techniques passed down through generations, each knot is placed with precision, resulting in a robust and uniform pile that is built to last for many years.

With a weight of 3.5 kg packed into its modest size, this rug displays a density that speaks to the quality of materials and the labour-intensive nature of its construction. The weight is a direct result of the high volume of Wool used, ensuring a thickness and structural integrity that provides both comfort and long-term durability.
