Krissy - A Cheerful Touch for Every Space

Brighten up your home with the Krissy rug, a versatile and cheerful choice crafted for both indoor and outdoor living with a durable woven finish.

The Krissy rug brings a sense of light and energy to any room with its vibrant yellow tones and clean, geometric pattern. Its inviting presence makes it a perfect addition to living rooms, dining areas, or even covered outdoor spaces where you want to add a touch of warmth and personality.

Crafted with care, this rug offers a tactile experience that is both comfortable and practical. The low-profile construction provides a smooth surface underfoot, while the durable materials ensure it stands up well to everyday life, making it a reliable choice for busy households.

Designed with modern convenience in mind, the Krissy rug is fully washable, allowing you to keep your space looking fresh and clean with ease. It is also compatible with underfloor heating, ensuring that your floors remain cosy and inviting even during the cooler months of the year.

This piece reflects a commitment to quality and thoughtful design, originating from India where traditional weaving techniques are honoured. Its combination of style, versatility, and ease of maintenance makes it a smart choice for those looking to enhance their home environment with a piece that balances function and beauty.

Design

The design features a repeating diamond motif that creates a balanced and rhythmic visual appeal across the surface. The bright yellow base is accented by dark elements at the intersections of the diamonds, providing a sharp and clean contrast that feels both modern and lively.

Finished with neat fringe on the ends, the rug adds a touch of classic detail to its overall contemporary look. The simplicity of the pattern allows it to work seamlessly in a variety of settings, whether you want to make a bold statement or add a subtle pop of colour to your decor.

The Krissy rug is carefully hand woven by skilled artisans who bring years of experience to every piece they create. This traditional method requires a steady hand and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the weave is consistent and the final result is a durable and well-crafted addition to your home.

Because each rug is made by hand rather than by machine, it carries the unique mark of human craftsmanship. The process is time-intensive, with artisans spending significant effort to achieve the precise pattern and tight weave that gives this rug its distinctive character and long-lasting quality.

By choosing a hand woven rug, you are supporting traditional craftsmanship that prioritises quality over mass production. This dedication to the craft ensures that your rug is not only a functional item but also a piece that has been thoughtfully assembled to provide comfort and style for years to come.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
To maintain the quality of your rug, avoid leaving it damp for a long time without ensuring that it dries completely. This will help protect both the rug and the surface beneath.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.

Washing instructions

Do this

Handwash
Wash separately.
Line dry with good air circulation all around.
Reshape the rug while damp.
Make sure the rug is completely dry before placing it back on the floor.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Rinse the rug regularly with a garden hose and, if necessary, use a mild washing-up detergent. Hang the rug or place it off the ground to dry thoroughly.
