Handloom fringes - OrangeRug

200 x 250 cm

This rug is meticulously crafted using a traditional handloom technique, a labour-intensive process that requires immense focus and precision. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, the hand-loomed method ensures that every inch of the rug is carefully managed by a skilled artisan, resulting in a superior level of structural integrity.

With a substantial weight of 15 kg for its size, this rug demonstrates a high density of material that is only achievable through dedicated hand-weaving. This significant weight is a clear indicator of the generous amount of Wool used in the construction, providing a thick, durable pile that maintains its plush feel and shape over time.

The time and human effort invested in this piece are reflected in its uniform texture and the quality of the finish. By choosing a handmade item, you are supporting a craft tradition that prioritises longevity and attention to detail, resulting in a product that stands apart from standard, machine-made floor coverings.
