Crafted from 100% wool, this rug offers natural warmth and reliable sound absorption, helping to create a quieter, more peaceful room. The soft fibres provide a pleasant layer of comfort that makes stepping onto the floor a pleasure.

Practicality meets considered craftsmanship with full compatibility for underfloor heating systems. You can safely place this piece over heated floors while enjoying the consistent warmth and natural qualities of the wool fibres.

Originating from India, this piece reflects traditional hand-crafting skills passed down through generations. Certified by Care & Fair, your purchase supports ethical working conditions and educational projects for weavers and their families.

Design

The rug features a distinct floral motif shaped like a blooming blossom with soft, wavy edges. Alternating segments of yellow and pink fan out from a detailed central rosette, creating a vibrant yet balanced composition that draws the eye across the floor.

The colour palette combines warm pink, sunny yellow, and deep red outlines to create a welcoming and lively atmosphere. This design suits modern spaces looking for a touch of organic geometry and cheerful colour.

This rug is carefully hand tufted by skilled artisans who spend days shooting yarn loops through a sturdy cotton backing to build the dense, textured pile. The process requires great precision to capture the intricate organic shape and distinct colour sections of the floral design.

Creating a piece of this scale takes dedicated human effort and time, resulting in a durable and substantive textile. The hands-on manufacturing approach ensures that each rug carries unique character and a high level of construction quality.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
