Design

The Bizzy rug showcases an engaging abstract pattern made up of large, flowing organic shapes.

The design features a thoughtful composition of curved blocks that interact smoothly across the surface, creating a sense of movement and visual balance without feeling cluttered.

Short fringed edges complete the ends, adding a traditional tactile detail that frames the lively composition.

A harmonious palette of pastel tones brings a gentle and welcoming mood to the room.

Soft shades of pink, orange, yellow, and deep berry tones work together to create warmth and subtle contrast.

This versatile colour scheme suits modern interiors beautifully, adding character and a calm, creative energy to floors.

The Bizzy rug is skillfully crafted using a traditional table tufted technique.

Artisans work by hand to insert loops of yarn into the cotton base fabric, creating a dense and plush pile that offers lasting resilience.

This hands-on production method requires significant time and human effort, allowing skilled makers to shape each rug with care.

Crafting a piece of this scale takes several days of dedicated work, ensuring a level of personal touch that automated looms simply cannot replicate.

Every step of the process relies on the artisan trained eye and steady hands.

From the initial tufting to the careful finishing of the edges and attached fringe, this human involvement results in a considered home textile built to support your daily life.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
For best results and a longer-lasting rug, we recommend shaking the rug instead of hoovering. If needed, hoover carefully using gentle suction to avoid stressing the pile.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Avoid hoovering directly over the fringes, as the suction and brushes can catch the threads and cause damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
To clean the fringes, use a soft brush to get the debris out.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
