Specifications

Rug ID OVE151
Knot density approx 650 000 - 0 000 knots per m²

You can easily calculate the knot density yourself by counting the number of knots 1 cm down and 1 cm across, and then multiplying these numbers together. Then multiply the total by 10,000 to give the number of knots per m².

Some carpet sellers exaggerate the knot density, so to be sure that you are comparing like for like when it comes to price, it is worth checking the knot density yourself. Most of CarpetVista’s carpets have a photograph of the reverse with a ruler, making it easy to examine the knot quality and count the exact knot density before choosing your carpet.

Pile Acrylic
Acrylic is a synthetic textile fibre and rugs with an acrylic pile bear the closest ressemblance in appearance to wool than any other synthetic. Acrylic yarn is virtually stain repellant and is good in holding up appearance of bright and vibrant colours. The dye does not easily fade and colours tend to remain bright throughout the rug's lifetime. Acrylic is also resistant to mild-dew and releases moisture quickly making it suitable for use in many different rooms and settings. Another advantage is that acrylic is resistant to moths.
Warp Cotton
Manufacturing Machine knotted
Mechanically produced rugs - production is carried out in a fixed rug width and with a fixed number of colours to form a rug pattern. Machine-knotted rugs take significantly less time to produce than hand-knotted rugs accounting for the price difference.
Size 200x300

The size of this rug can vary as cotton may cause the rug to shrink slightly after production.
