Rose Kelim carpet from Moldova.
Rose kilims are produced in Moldavia and the northern parts of Turkey. The rugs are woven with a special technique that gives them a thin and cover-like quality. Rose kilims are old rugs and can easily be up to 50 years old, thus making them relativly rare to come by. The designs are typically with big flowers in bright colours on a dark background.

The quality of the rugs is brilliant and I am very pleased with them. I was supposed to be receiving them both on the same day but they were delivered by separate lorries. This meant that I had to wait in for two days not one and a fair amount of worry as to whether one of the carpets had got lost. I could have done with more information from the Company plus reassurance.

Great rug; color a bit different
The color of the rug was more tan than I expected. On the internet it appeared more of a salmon color; however, it looks perfect. The rug has some imperfections but you are told this before purchase. Am very pleased.
