Handloom fringes - Light carpet from India.
These carpets are made in Bhadohi, India using good quality wool which makes them soft and comfortable to walk on. A different kind of loom is used in the production process which makes the work faster than traditional carpet knotting and results in a lower price. However, the newer method does not allow for advanced patterns so they are only available in single colours or simple geometric patterns. The value-for-money carpets are ideal for both a well-designed office or in a home with modern decor.
Durable Wool 
Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

This is my second carpet, exactly the same one. Bought for living room , and now for children’s room also. So.... I love it
I waffled between buying this and an Oriental carpet but went with this one because it felt safer for an online purchase. Nonetheless, I couldn’t be happier with this rug. It’s thick and soft (not as silky as the Bamboo Silk Loom I replaced), but it feels sturdier and nice and wooly. It says it has an artificial silk warp, but I don’t notice it. It feels natural and wooly and the color was just what I wanted -- an earthy off white

The carpet arrived fast (48 hours after the online order). It looks exactly as in the advertised photograph and is nice and smooth. I was only surprised that the carpet did not come rolled in a roll but rather was folded repeatedly in a cubicle shape. But I hope it will completely flatten out.

Great product. Exactly as described. Feels great under foot.
Bit heavier than I expected (which is good). Quick check with tape says measurements are within a cm. No surprises re: color. A nice carpet at a good price.
The colors in the rug will be perceived differently depending on the angle you view it from.
