Handloom fringes Rug - Green carpet from India.
These carpets are made in Bhadohi, India using good quality wool which makes them soft and comfortable to walk on. A different kind of loom is used in the production process which makes the work faster than traditional carpet knotting and results in a lower price. However, the newer method does not allow for advanced patterns so they are only available in single colours or simple geometric patterns. The value-for-money carpets are ideal for both a well-designed office or in a home with modern decor.

Wool is a natural textile fibre and one of the most sought after materials for rug making. Wool rugs are highly durable and perfectly capable of resisting wear and tear of every day use. Wool has a naturally dirt-repelling effect and is easy to keep clean. It is also flame resistant and characteristically retains it’s shape so that the pile of the rug always rises.

Was concerned that this rug would not be the same colour as on screen but it was perfect. The rug is nice and thick underfoot. Has fringes but actually doesn't really need them. Communication was good and UPS delivered exactly on time. Would use again.
