Our very popular Shaggy rugs fit into most modern homes, kids rooms and teenage rooms. With it's thick pile and exciting colours, these rugs are very soft and comfortable to walk on or to relax on in front of the TV. The pile of these rugs is made of a plastic material with a textile feel known as Polypropylene, a material with several positive characteristics. The major advantage being that it is well suited for people with allergies against animal fur for example. Another positive characteristic is that it does not shed and this makes it easier to keep clean.
Artificial wool
Artificial wool (Polypropylene) is a man-made fibre, made up of tightly twisted yarns that give the rug a lively lustre. Polypropylene has a high resistance to wear and can withstand heat well. Rugs produced using polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies to, for example, natural materials. The material is antistatic which means it does not shed fibres or attract dust and is easy to clean.
OEKO-TEX®
All our machine-knotted rugs from Turkey are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, a globally uniform and independent testing- and certification system for textiles. The certification means that the finished product is free from hazardous chemicals.

Great rug, fast delivery, good support
The rug was true to color on the website, which, my bad, I thought maybe it would be less muted in real life. Knowing that I could return it for free if I wanted to was very reassuring, but in the end I decided to keep it, the muted colors have grown on me and overall its a great rug and I will likely buy another soon. Fedex, on the other hand, were crap. I waited in 2 full days because they told me it would be delivered but it never came. On the 3rd day I went to work, and luckily my neighbour received the package for me.

Promptly delivered quality handmade wool rug. Decent value for the money. I am happy. It was folded rather than rolled up which surprised me as I have an old Indian Gabbeh which is much thicker and you couldn't do that with. That said you cannot buy these without paying a lot, lot more these days. So this rug is more flexible. It does require an underlay on a wood floor. Rugvista do thin rubber type mesh underlays which stop slippage but in my opinion these are not very luxe. I will buy a felt and rubber type which John Lewis and some other companies sell. Overall I am happy and the colour is perfect.
