I’m very happy with my new Rug and happy with the fast efficient delivery. My one quibble is why was the Rug folded up so small that all edges are bent on arrival and rug us creased? It makes sense to me to roll a rug for delivery to present any damage of this nature.

Synthetic wool (Polypropylene) is a man-made fibre, made up of tightly twisted yarns that give the rug a lively lustre. Polypropylene has a high resistance to wear and can withstand heat well. Rugs produced using polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies to, for example, natural materials. The material is antistatic which means it does not shed fibres or attract dust and is easy to clean.
Mechanically produced rugs - production is carried out in a fixed rug width and with a fixed number of colours to form a rug pattern. Machine-knotted rugs take significantly less time to produce than hand-knotted rugs accounting for the price difference.
The size of this rug can vary as cotton may cause the rug to shrink slightly after production.
Designer: Karen Harris
My name is Karen. I have a degree in architecture and have had a rewarding career in architectural design, commercial and residential interiors, graphic design, product design...all things design...and what it all comes down to is this...I just LOVE shapes. and not only do I have this crazy love affair going on with shapes, the shapes made BETWEEN the shapes gets me pretty excited too. Sometimes I will move the elements of a design around until the motifs and the spaces between the motifs are "talking to each other".
I always try to create this balance between opposites. I am a self-proclaimed "gapbridger" My work is playful yet sophisticated, organic yet organized, modern yet traditionally grounded and very, very androgynous (who says guys don't like prints?)
I love bringing together my passion for architecture, graphic design, illustration, and interior and product design in a way that is relevant, unique, modern and fresh. You can find my work gracing the surfaces of many products including area rugs, gifts, home accents, stationery products and tech accessories.
Design: Casual Elegance in Cool
Casual Elegance is a play with negative space that I love so much. I am always inspired by the shapes of objects. This design is based on a large scale ball chain necklace that I own. But instead of focusing on the object, I make the object come alive by focusing my attention on adding color to the spaces between the objects.
